Elliott Ward, PhD

Dr. Ward

Dr. Ward received his BA from the University of South Florida with primary study areas in both psychology and biology. He received his PhD in psychology from Vanderbilt University with additional courses in neuroanatomy through Vanderbilt Medical School. He spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow in neurophysiology at Tulane University and a second year as a postdoctoral fellow in neurophysiology at New York Medical College in New York City. He completed a two-year clinical psychology internship through Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute and spent an additional four years working with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health. From 1977 to the present Dr. Ward has maintained his own private psychology practice. As a component of his practice he provided consulting psychological services to the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC) from 1981 to 2003. At TRC he conducted individual and group counseling for clients with a broad range of physical, emotional, and intellectual disabilities. He is a member of the Tennessee Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. (him/his)


Steven Hansen, PsyD

Dr. Hansen

Dr. Hansen received his BA from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a major in Psychology and minor focus in Criminal Justice. He received his Master's degree and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. His doctoral internship and postdoctoral training were completed in Colorado Springs in community mental health. Prior to coming to Tennessee, he worked in Colorado within community mental health centers as a clinical psychologist, clinical supervisor, and program manager. He comes from a generalist background, treating an array of clients, with experiences related to suicide risk assessment, severe and persistent mental illness, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. He also has experience with research and treatment within the LGBT community. His treatment approach is cognitive behavioral therapy-based with an additional focus on schema therapy. (him/his)

Erin Kenny, BA, LCSW

Ms. Kenny

Ms. Kenny earned her BA in Psychology and Master's of Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University. She is currently enrolled in the PhD of Public Policy and Administration at Tennessee State University. She is a graduate of the Vanderbilt Volunteer Advocacy Program with a focus on assisting children and families with IEP's and 504 plans. She has special interest in advocating for clients within the medical and educational systems. Ms. Kenny has received training and experience working with individuals with a variety of medical difficulties, with a focus on assisting in support and adjustment. (she/her)

Jessica Huddleston, MA, MCJ, PhD

Dr. Huddleston

Dr. Huddleston received both her BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. She completed her clinical psychology practicum at Vanderbilt's clinical neuropsychology program. She earned her PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Tennessee State University. Dr. Huddleston is licensed as a Certified Psychological Assistant, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. She has a special interest in the logic and procedures of standardized testing accommodations. She is a graduate of the Vanderbilt Volunteer Advocacy Program with a focus on assisting children and families with IEP's and 504 plans. She specializes in working with individuals with chronic medical conditions as well as OCD. (she/her)




Katelyn Roosa, MA

Ms. Roosa

Katelyn Roosa earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2013 and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State university in 2017. She is specialized in neuropsychological assessment administration, and is well-versed in geriatric disorders. Katelyn has volunteered at senior center memory expo's, as well as focusing the majority of her research on the geriatric population. (she/her)



Jessica Gilmour Fiola, MA

Ms. Fiola

Gilmour received her BA from Mount Holyoke College with a major in Psychology and a minor in theatre. She received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Before moving to Tennessee, she worked within residential, crisis, and school based mental health programs in Massachusetts and Maine, providing individual group and family therapy services. She has been trained and certified in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. She specializes in working with executive functioning difficulty, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum, anxiety, and depression. She is LBGTQ friendly. (she/her)
